"Finally boots I can wear all day"

“I am 62 and I have one complaint about boots. They either look nice and hurt, or they are comfortable and sturdy looking. These are both. The suede is soft, the inside is lined and cosy without being hot, and the chunky sole has real grip for icy pavements. I wore them through a long shopping day with no sore feet at all, which has not happened in a decade. The zip makes them easy to get into. Neutral sand goes with everything. Ordering a second colour.”

"The cardigan I didn't know I needed"

“I am 58 and I had given up on cardigans. Either they are thin and clingy or so boxy I feel like I am wearing my husband's. This one is neither. It is soft, has real weight, and the buttons feel like they will stay on. I have worn it four times since it arrived. It works over a tee with white jeans and over a dress. The pink is softer in person than I expected, which I like, because it reads grown up instead of loud. My daughter asked to borrow it and I said no.”

"The one everyone comments on"

“I am 61 and this is the most fun thing I have bought in years. I wore it to a family lunch and every single person said something. My sister asked where I got it before she even sat down. It is genuinely colourful, but the cream base keeps it from being overwhelming. Warm, with a bit of stretch, so it moves with me instead of fighting me. I sized up for a looser layer and it is perfect over a white tee with jeans. Washed well, no fading, no snagging. It has converted me.”

"Feels far more expensive than it was"

“I am 64 and I am fussy about knitwear. Wool sweaters that scratched, acrylic ones that went shapeless after two washes. This one hits the sweet spot. The rust colour is gorgeous, warm without being loud, and it goes with cream, denim and black. The collar sits up nicely if you want it to, and the buttons are real horn style ones. I wore it to dinner with friends and got compliments from three people, one of whom never notices anything. Ordered my usual size and it fit perfectly.”

"Classic, but with personality"

“I am 66 and careful about prints, because a lot of patterns read as frumpy on women my age. This one does not. The dots are small and spaced just right, so it looks considered rather than busy. The oatmeal colour goes with black, navy and denim. The knit is substantial and holds its shape, and the ribbing at the cuffs and hem stays put instead of stretching out. I wore it in town with a black quilted bag and felt genuinely stylish for the first time in weeks. No pilling, no itch, true to size.”

"This colour makes me happy"

“I am 63 and I bought this purely for the colour, which I never do. That chartreuse lifts your whole face. I put it on and looked less tired immediately, which at my age is a real selling point. Relaxed fit but not sloppy, shoulders sit properly, sleeves actually long enough. I have worn it with dark jeans and with grey trousers and it works both ways. Thick cotton, no itch, came out of the wash looking the same. Already worn it twice this week. No regrets.”

"The perfect deep red"

“I am 59 and I hunted for a true burgundy sweater for two winters. Everything is either too pink or too brown. This is exactly the shade I wanted, deep and rich, and it makes my silver jewellery pop. The V neck is well cut, not too deep, so I can wear it to work without thinking about it. Soft, no itch, and it drapes nicely instead of clinging at the middle. I paired it with white wide leg trousers and felt genuinely put together on a Tuesday. Washed cold, still perfect. Buying a second.”
